Please pray...

Today we got some really sad news... Darin's cousin Camryn who we love and adore (4 years old-5 in April) had lukemia, and seemed to have fully recovered from it. Well, today we found out that her lukemia is back. She will have to undergo a bone marrow transplant (after she finishes 5 weeks of arsenic treatment). She has already had a stemcell transplant at just 2 1/2 years of age. This poor little girl has been through so much already and my heart breaks for the conversation her parents have to have with her tonight about it pretty much starting all over. She's older now, but she has not forgotten all that she's already been through. And being that she is older now she will understand much more. I don't know if that is good or bad. I just hurt so bad for their family, because I can't imagine what its like to go through what they have already had to go through, and what they are starting to go through again. They are strong believers, and her mother has even encouraged me throughout their journey. I know that God will give them the strength to get through these tough times, and whatever the outcome He will be glorified through Camryn and her brother and parents. I just also know that sometimes God's glory can be painful. We just don't understand it always. To watch a little girl go through this is just too painful, even if she comes out healthy on the other side.
Ok, well I know I am rambling, and I also know that most of the people that read this blog are family members, but in case you read it and didn't already know all this... please pray for Camryn Lee. She is a very special little girl, and her and her family just really need your prayers.

Happy Valentines Day!

Sweet Parker is still fast asleep (its 8:40-but I had to give him cough syrup at 4:30- so who knows how long he will sleep for). Hopefully he wakes up soon, because I want to take the boys out for donuts this morning for a special Valentines breakfast.
Darin's in Florida... Again. Last time he was there I got to go too. In January, that is where we celebrated our 5th anniversary. We are definitely missing him. Hope he isn't lonely on this Valentines day.
Other than our donut breakfast we don't have any big plans for today.
I do have a funny story though. Actually a few funny things have been said around here lately. Mostly by Conner, although Parker has become quite the chatterbox lately.:)
Anyway, the other day we were talking about Conner's valentines, and his class valentines party and he said that if any girls in his class gave him a princess valentine he was going to have to throw it in the trash, because princesses are for chicks. Well, he did get some princesses and he didn't thrown them in the trash... in fact he had NO problem eating the princess fruit snacks that he was given.LOL
Also... I almost forgot to post it... BUT Conner can ride his bike now! I know that seems very late... At least I think it does, but once he started riding he just took off. Now he wants to be outside riding all day long! Yay! Its so much fun!
Hope your Valentines day is great and full of love with your loved ones!

What a disappointment.

Sorry to anyone who has checked this blog for the last two months or so. I have been such a lame blogger. My computer has not been charging well, so I am afraid to do anything I don't have to do before it dies.
Well, today it seems not to be rejecting the charger, so we will see what happens.
The last two months have been a sort of a blur for us. Darin has been traveling quite a bit and I have been pretty sick with morning sickness and most recently "intolerably low" (said the e.r. doc) blood pressure. Thankfully my nausea has gone away for the most part... So now I am just trying to figure out what to do about this blood pressure thing, while eating salt on EVERYTHING. LOL I'm not a huge salt person to begin with, so this has been fun...
Anyway Darin just got into town late last night... So this morning he had planned to take any boys who were "good for Mommy" last night while going to bed out for donuts this morning. That was a bit sad, because Parker had a really tough time at bedtime and we fought about it for at least an hour. So, Conner and Daddy got to have a date, and Parker has a chance to redeem himself today and then tomorrow he will get to have a date with daddy if all goes well. Lets hope! I know Darin really wants to take him.
So, while they were out getting donuts Parker went with me to go wait at a Lutheran Church here in town for them to hopefully call my name off of the waiting list. In hopes that Conner would get to go to school there. Well, I did get my name called, so Conner will be switching schools next year.:( We really like the school he is at now, Lamb of God, but we signed him up last year before we realized we were moving, and now it is just quite a drive. So... next year he will be at Faith Lutheran, and I am actually a little excited about it. It doesn't start until 9:30 in the morning (as opposed to 8:30) so getting out of the house won't be quite so hard. Especially seeing that we will have another little one in the mix by then.
Parker won't be starting school yet. I think in Fall of 2010 we can go there. But I am just not quite ready. Besides that I think it will be kind of nice to only have the monthly tuition for one at a time in preschool. By the time Conner goes to Kindergarten Parker will be ready for Preschool.
So... that is basically all that we have going on right now. Preschool shopping and dizziness. Thankfully Daddy is home for a few days!
Sorry its been so long since I've posted.
